The spark plug is part of the ignition system
Jan 06, 2024
The spark plug is part of the ignition system. Its main function is to introduce the high-voltage electricity generated by the ignition coil into the engine car, and then generate sparks between the electrode gaps to ignite the mixture. Let the engine run normally.
Spark plug type
At present, the spark plugs assembled in engines are mainly ordinary spark plugs and platinum spark plugs. The main difference lies in the electrode part. Ordinary nickel alloy spark plugs generally have a service life of 20,000 to 30,000 kilometers, and platinum spark plugs have a service life of 40,000 to 50,000 kilometers.
