The advantages of a dual spark plug ignition system are

1. After using dual spark plugs for ignition, the two spark plugs are ignited at the same time to cause the mixture to explode and burn, rapidly forming a strong vortex, which greatly speeds up the propagation speed of the flame. At the same time, the flame propagation distance is theoretically shortened by 1/2. The time is also shortened accordingly, greatly improving the heat utilization rate.
2. Due to the shortened combustion time, the ignition raising angle of the maximum torque can be delayed. Therefore, during ignition, the temperature and pressure of the mixture in the combustion chamber are relatively high, which is conducive to ignition and rapid combustion.
3. The mixture is uneven in space and time in the combustion chamber, so there is a misfire rate problem in electric spark ignition (not ignited). If two spark plugs are ignited at the same time, the misfire rate can be doubled. In lean-burn engines, high-energy ignition utilizing dual spark plugs is also advantageous.
4. Two sparks can achieve more stable combustion and reduce the blowout effect of turbulence in the cylinder.
