Car Spark Plug Precautions

(1) Be gentle when unplugging the high-voltage wire connector, and do not shake the spark plug insulator forcefully during operation, otherwise the sealing performance of the spark plug will be destroyed.
(2) The engine can be disassembled after it has cooled down. After loosening the spark plug to be disassembled, use a thin hose to blow away the dirt around the spark plug one by one to prevent dirt from falling into the combustion chamber after the spark plug is unscrewed.
(3) The area around the screws, spark plug electrodes and sealing gaskets must be kept clean, dry and free of oil, otherwise it will cause electrical leakage, air leakage, spark weakening and other faults. (4) When installing, first use a sleeve to align the spark plug with the screw hole, then gently screw it in by hand until it reaches about 1/2 of the total length of the thread, and then tighten it with a booster lever. If the hand feels unsmooth when twisting, you should exit and check whether the threads are aligned or whether there are impurities contained in the threads. Do not tighten blindly to avoid damaging the screw holes and damaging the cylinder head, especially the aluminum alloy cylinder head.
(5) Tighten to the required torque. If it is too loose, it will cause air leakage. If it is too tight, the sealing gasket will lose its elasticity, which will also cause air leakage. Since the cone seat type spark plug does not require a sealing gasket, it is particularly important to comply with the tightening torque.
